NO CELL OR INTERNET SERVICE AS YOU ARE IN A CANYON. There is a 911 landline on a telephone pole at the "Y" entrance to these areas. The El Selvilla area has the spigot beyond the wash. There is a water spigot in both areas with fresh water. While we were there there was 1 other RV by us and a truck w/camper by the toilet area. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING OVER A 24' VEHICLE INTO ANY OF THIS AREA. El Bosquecito area has the pit toilet and is the tent camping area. A very interesting tour led by Chantelle! Thank you! Quite a few steps and stairs but my 90 year old mother made it through it! I recommend the cave tour.Ĭampgroud-($15 fee RV/$10 tent paid at cave gift store) is below the cave on a primative road and only 3 rv spots in La Selvilla area. To pass the time waiting we wandered around the parking lot checking out the various views from there. We tried to get tickets for the 1 pm Thursday tour and were told that that tour was sold out (limited to around 20) So, we purchased tickets for the 2 pm tour. I will share that experience after reviewing the cave tour. Cave tour-Our first stop was at the colossal cave campground, where with a RV we camped overnight. ![]()
